This movie was such a cool movie. It uplifts you and give you hope. ? kept saying ''Yay, you go girl'' in various scenes in this movie. Such a cool movie. This movie sends a message to all woman out there. You can do it! You are amazing and strong!Yifei Liu played her part amazingly. This role fit her perfectly. I didn't know that Jet Li had a part in this movie. But that is so cool that Jet Li was in this movie.This movie is motivational. Similar to how that animated movie ''Brave'' is.It is an inspirational movie and uplifting.A movie for everyone.

I have to say, Mulan is the most satisfying Disney live-action adaptation I've ever seen. Liu yifei and Gong Li give impressive performances, and the story between them is very Disney. The visual and musical effects of the film are breathtaking, and the action is even more stunning. But unlike previous Disney live-action films, this one has a bigger format. Mulan has a kernel compatible with the story and spiritual power that a good movie should have. The whole film is different from the over-entertainment and fantasy animated version, it is very realistic, logical and reasonable. There are so many themes, such as the awakening of female power, father-daughter affection, loyalty to country and self, that enrich this live-action film. Personally, I was very focused and shocked during the whole movie. I never expected to see such wonderful action and emotional expression of Disney Princess films in the cinema. But if there's one thing that makes this movie perfect, it's probably that the script needs to be a little richer. Either way, it's a great movie worth going to the cinema for. Liu Yifei's performance is mesmerizing.

The movie is maybe a small notch above other Disney remakes and it does have great music and pretty good cinematography but the characters just fall short. It's a movie that at no point makes you really care about any of them. Clearly it was made for the big screen so watching it on a home television really made it lackluster and not worth being charged twice by Disney to see it.
