I generally have a low bar on kids movies. They should not be judged the way regular movies are but that said this movie does not clear the bar. It starts by dunking on the first movie for being nonsensical and unfunny and then puts out a much worse effort. The plot is incoherent madness. The movie is painfully unfunny. It has an oedipal element that is not welcome. I could trash the movie for hours but here is the real review. I asked my daughter if she liked it. She is 6. She says she did but I can tell she didn't. Normally when she likes a movie she sits in her chair and rehashes what se sees and laughs at anything. This time she couldn't stay in her chair and did not pay any attention. Normally after a movie I ask her what the movie is about to see what she retained and if she understood the plot. This time I needed the help. She couldn't answer and the most damning thing of all she didn't want to see it again. I feel bad for the director and animators who clearly worked hard on this but avoid at all costs.

This will be a perfect family movie night! Great message in this movie.... family is the most important in life!! Love this animation, the facial expressions are so funny & creative!

I don't do full reviews too often but I feel obligated to do one for this awful movie. It's not funny, it's not interesting, it's just bad. I understand I'm an adult and it's a kid movie but I usually tolerate kids movies and sometimes really enjoy them. I would compare this to the emoji movie at best. Trust me when I say once again, IT IS BAD.
