It's flawed and formulaic but it's still decent and emotional. Although it gets superficial and corny sometimes, it keeps you fully involved and interested all the time. It's highly captivating and so depressing. Sandra Bullock gives an excellent Oscar-Worthy performance, one of her best performances ever.

Movie was decent enough but holy cow talk about predictable. You know how this thing ends just cause this kind of flick has been done countless times before. Sandra and the cast do the best they can with a mediocre script. I do give Sandra credit cause she definitely made this movie better than what it would have been without her. Jon Bernthal should have had a larger part as well but I really liked Vincent D. Such a good actor so way to go Pvt Pyle! I'm guessing for the majority of viewers this will is gonna fall around 5-7 in rankings. It won't be the worst choice you can make in a movie but definitely won't be the best. Just an all around decent flick...

Acting's good , writing good, it's just interesting .

I could care less about this character or story .

Too much sad movies out there ... need some decent comedies.
