It was so bad. There was no plot! Hardin is terribly acted and god knows they aren't recasting him for the third movie. Dylan Sprouse and whoever plays Tessa were fine. I'm just so disappointed by the lack of substance

This movie was amazing.I took my partner with me.. who hasn't even seen the first movie and he loved it. He made me watch the first one once we was home. The way this movie captures the pure emotions that are written in the books is fab! Can't wait for the next 2 movies!
I'm giving this movie a 6, but that's just because I read the books and I guess you could say I'm a fan(?), however, I'm going to be very honest here. Well, on one hand, we have to have in mind that: the director is not the best (but at least better than the one from the first movie); the writer of the script is also the writer of the book (which I know she thought it would be better for the fans of the book, because it would be more like the original story. But we all know what happened when J.K. Rowlling wrote the script of Fantastic Beasts; it was not pretty); and of course, the actors behind the main characters are still in the beginning of their careers, and they're incredible people who are actually trying their best. All of these points really softened my heart a little while watching the movie, and I knew I wasn't going to see a big production, so I lowered my standards and tried watching it with an open mind. Anyhow, on the other hand, now analyzing this movie with a more critical and impartial approach, let's list just some points of everything that's wrong with After We Collided. Well, first things first, the writing has its flaws, and very big ones, especially in the beginning when our narrator, Hardin, starts comparing his and Tessa's troubled college relationship to great Shakespearean stories like Romeo and Juliet's. I mean, talk about someone delusional. And last but not least, lest talk about the excessive and aggressive pop music shoved unnecessarily in a bunch of scenes by the fear of all the awkward silence that was present in at least half of the first After movie; well that was really a mood-killer, especially in those more emotional scenes.
(Ps, sorry for any typos)
